Auxiliary Shear Compensation compensates for a long first part after a cutoff operation by the auxiliary controller.
Used only in configurations where an auxiliary device controls the shear, it initiates the cutoff operation by sending the auxiliary controller a shear output to trigger its cut operation.
The value should be equal to the Shear to Detect distance plus the Minimum Die Distance of the auxiliary controller in inches:
Aux Shear Compensation = Shear Detect + Minimum Die Distance.
The range of this parameter setting is 0 to 1000, with a default value of 0 (disabled).
