Coil End Offset delays the Coil End Point warning when the line does not need to be halted within a given distance of the next shear operation. The Coil End Point message displays the distance that the material went past the Coil End Point mark.
Enter the distance from press target at which a Coil End Point halt should not occur. For example, if the Coil End Point is 120 inches, and the Coil End Offset is 12.000 inches, when the controller encounters the Coil End Point distance but a shear target will occur in less than 12 inches, the line continues running past the Coil End Point. Halting of the line is delayed so the shear can first take place.
