The Press Boost Dwell is the time after the press operation that the specified press’s die boost output remains on and continues pushing the die forward to ensure that the press die is out of the material before it returns to its resting position.
The die boost output activates at the same time as the punch output and remains on for the entire press cycle time (Press Down time plus the Press Up time) plus the Press Boost Dwell time. If the controller parameter is a Press Dwell time, the cycle time is simply twice the Press Dwell time.
Press Boost Dwell time can range from 0.000 to 9.999 seconds.
