The controller automatically calculates Stopping Reaction Time by measuring the amount of overshoot and/or undershoot on every move. By comparing the location of the actual target against the programmed target, the controller can adjust the Stopping Reaction Time to match the characteristics of the machine.
Note: Without such a method for tracking the stopping reaction, all parts would be long due to the stopping delay. The user can specify a tolerance so that accuracy is assured.
