AMS Controls Training Attendee Information
This page is intended to provide information for planning your travel to St. Louis, choosing a hotel, and what to expect during training. If you have a question that isn’t answered on this page, please call or email us and we’d be happy to help!
AMS Controls hosts client training twice a year in our office in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This year’s training will take place February 28-March 2. The training session is three days long (Tuesday-Thursday). Attendees will stay at the Holiday Inn Express St. Louis Arpt – Maryland Hgts. You will be required to check in to the hotel the evening prior to training.
Traveling to AMS Controls
If you are flying into St. Louis, you want to fly into Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL). This airport is approximately ten minutes from the Holiday Inn Express. The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is to use Uber, Lyft, or standard taxi service. All of our training will take place at the AMS Controls facility, which is only five minutes from the hotel.
The Holiday Inn Express St. Louis Arpt – Maryland Hgts is located at 13615 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
Amenities During Training
We know that many of you will need to keep in contact with work while you are with us. To keep you connected, we provide free public Wi-Fi for internet access and a 120 VAC outlet at each seat for charging laptops and phones. We do ask, however, that phones are kept on silent or vibrate to prevent interrupting the class.
We don’t want you to go hungry. Breakfast is provided at the hotel in the morning along with coffee and water throughout the day during training. For lunch, we provide gourmet box lunches for each day of training. Someone will contact you a week or two before the class to provide you with a menu for each lunch. Please let us know if you require a special meal due to allergen or dietary constraints. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We will provide dinner and drinks Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at local establishments that provide a wide range of food selection and the ability to network openly with other attendees as well as AMS Controls personnel.
Here are the training manuals and daily schedules we have created for our Eclipse and Machine Controls classes. These documents are subject to change, but the latest versions will be available on this page.
We will not provide hard copies of these documents during training in an effort to conserve paper. However you will be able to access the materials via SharePoint links provided at the start of training.
