Installing Eclipse Classic Software Updates

Your software will inform you when an Eclipse update is available unless you have opted not to receive such notifications.

First, to download the Eclipse software update, you will need your serial number. You can find your serial number under “About Eclipse” from the Help menu in the main toolbar.

The About window displays your software version number as well as the options that have been activated.

Once you have located your serial number, write it down for reference during the update process.

Download the latest version of Eclipse here.

Enter your serial number to receive your Eclipse download.

The Eclipse update is in a compressed folder. Extract the compressed files to the folder where your Eclipse installation is located. If you haven’t made any changes, the default location is C:\Eclipse.

Once your files have extracted, locate the xllink.exe file and double-click it to open Eclipse.


Please remember, to receive an Eclipse update you must be current on your annual maintenance agreement. If you are not current on your annual maintenance agreement, you are not eligible to receive software updates.
