Eclipse Connections
Eclipse communicates to Ethernet-connected XL Series Controllers on outbound TCP port 4000.
Eclipse can connect to the AMS Controls web server to check for and download updates on TCP port 80 or 443. If necessary, a firewall rule should be created for *.amscontrols.com.
Other ports that might be used:
- Nodes connect to the master using Windows File Sharing (SMB).
- Eclipse communicates with a database server via that server’s selected port (MS SQL Server uses TCP ports 1433 and 1434).
