Checking the Status of Eclipse Pro Services

Checking the Status of Eclipse Pro Services

One of our first troubleshooting steps with Eclipse Pro is checking the status of the Eclipse Pro Services. To check the status of these Services, you will need to access the Eclipse Master computer. The Master computer is the computer that the Eclipse Classic, Eclipse Pro and RavenDB software installed.

Using Task Manager to Start, Stop, or Restart Eclipse Pro Services

On the Master Eclipse computer, open Task Manager and select the Services tab.

Task Manager Services tab for the status of Eclipse Pro Agent and Eclipse Pro Server
Task Manager Services tab for the Status of the RavenDB service

If either Eclipse Pro Agent, Eclipse Pro Server or RavenDB services are not in “Running” status, stop Eclipse Pro Agent, Eclipse Pro Server and RavenDB services.

Once the services stop, wait a few seconds then 1. Start the RavenDB service 2. Start the Eclipse Pro Agent service 3. Start Eclipse Pro Server service.

NOTE: The Eclipse Pro Server service, requires the RavenDB service to be “Running” otherwise, Pro Server won’t start. When Stopping the Eclipse Pro and RavenDB services, stop the Eclipse Pro services first and then stop RavenDB. When starting the Eclipse Pro and RavenDB services, start the RavenDB service first and then start the Eclipse Pro Services.

Using Powershell to Start, Stop, or Restart Eclipse Pro Services
