Reporting from Archived Data

How can I run a report on data that has been archived?

Select the report you want to run, in this example we’ll use the “Downtime” report.

We need to point Eclipse to the folder containing the archived history files:

When you select the folder that contains the archived data, Eclipse will show a message “Creating Date list File” and then a message popup “Selecting Data to Display.”

Select the Dates (1) and Shifts (2) for the report and press “Print”(3).  A message will popup “Selecting data to print, may take a few seconds.”

There will be another popup that will allow you to either “Preview,” “Print,” or “Cancel” the report.

Pressing “Preview” will allow you to view the report before printing.

The Printer icon will allow you to choose some print settings and print the report.

The “Preview” will also allow you to export the report in various formats.

What if I don’t see the folder that contains my archived history?

If you do not see the folder containing the archived history in the list, select the directory where the archived history is saved. In this example, the archived history is in the Eclipse folder:

You may get a warning saying: “There are history files with the old format filename in folder \ECLIPSE\”. Choose “Rename now.” There may be a warning popup saying, “There are no history files in folder.” Press “OK.”

Pressing “OK” will bring you back to the below screen. Selecting the highlighted button will allow you to choose the directory where the history files are located.
